We are looking for Membership Marketing and Communications Manager to co-ordinate communications with our members, raise awareness of our programmes and work, and improve our membership engagement.

Salary: £33,900 per annum annum (for a 0.8 FTE part time role)

Contractually this role is London-based
Contract: Permanent. Part time working 28 hours per week.

The Role:
We are looking for a Membership Marketing and Communications Manager to co-ordinate communications with our members, raise awareness of our programmes and work, and improve our membership engagement. This is an exciting new role at Hospice UK and you will be able to work collaboratively across the organisation to develop and implement an integrated membership marketing and communications plan.
You will be responsible for:
- promoting the wide range of projects and resources we offer our members
- measuring member satisfaction
- improving member engagement.
You will help us equip hospice professionals with the knowledge and support they need to care for more than 300,000 dying people and their families each year.

The Team:
Our new Membership Marketing and Communications Manager will join our Membership Engagement team. We are responsible for co-ordinating our relationship with Hospice UK’s members and sharing knowledge through a range of channels. We are a hybrid-working team that works collaboratively and meets in person regularly.
You will also work closely with our Campaigns and Communications team to ensure all our external communications are integrated.

Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice and palliative care. We provide support, leadership, expertise and advocacy for over 200 member hospices across the UK.
Our membership offer for hospices and their staff teams includes online resources, newsletters, conferences, networks, clinical and advocacy programmes. We bring hospices and sector partners together to discuss new ideas and collaborate in new ways, sharing good practice and celebrating the brilliant and innovative work that happens every day in hospices around the country.
We are looking for:
We’re looking for someone with strong marketing and communications skills who is an excellent copywriter. You will be able to interpret and utilise engagement data to develop appropriate marketing and promotional plans across a range of communication channels, including digital. You need to be a team player who is comfortable managing competing priorities and building positive stakeholder relationships.
