Head of Cake Studies

This is an in-depth role that will require a high level of knowledge about cakes, pies and pastries, along with a desire to eat plenty of them.

The post-holder will be expected to deliver the annual Hospice UK Gateau Lecture.

Preferring scones to be jam first rather than cream first is essential.

The following specialisms are preferred:

• Lemon meringue pies
• Tiramisu
• Black Forest Gateaus
• Apple Pies
