‘Dying for a Cuppa - The Workshop’, is hosted by soul midwives, Hannah Rayya and Katie Costello, with the workshop split into two sessions. You can attend each one individually at an exchange of £30 each or attend the full day for £55.
Session 1: 10am to 12.30pm: TLC - ‘The 4 Stages of Dying’.
This session looks at the process of dying and what happens at each stage, what it can look like and how we can help. This helps everybody we work with whether you are the patient, family, carer, or other health care professional. We will look in-depth at what a person experiences and how best we can support them at each step.
Session 2: 1.30pm to 4.30pm: ‘Vision Board your funeral’.
Very few of us have braved planning our closing party. Considering our demise can feel confronting and upsetting. Yet, considering our final wishes and informing our loved ones of how we desire to be honoured at our funeral will save them a lot of grief when the time comes. This is a chance to explore and design your funeral; a time to gain clarity and creatively express the kind of event that is a true reflection of you and your life.
