Hospices are their communities. As well as providing direct care to more than 11,400 people and their families annually, Wales’ 16 charitable hospices reach thousands more through their community engagement and development.
We can mobilise our communities to find local solutions to the needs of our populations and have the agility to respond quickly when that need arises. Hospices are also part of their health and care communities and work in partnership with our colleagues across the sector to deliver the right care, at the right time, in the right place.
Building on our experience, we must continue to collaborate and evolve if we are to meet increasing needs for hospice care and to deliver more of that care in the community and closer to home. (foreword by Trystan Pritchard, Chair, Hospices Cymru).

Hosbisau yw eu cymunedau. Ynghyd â darparu gofal uniongyrchol i fwy nag 11,400 o bobl a’u teuluoedd bob blwyddyn, mae 16 hosbis elusennol Cymru yn cyrraedd miloedd o bobl eraill drwy eu gwaith ymgysylltu a datblygu cymunedol.
